2019 GMC Sierra 1500

GMC focused heavily on design and technology in the new Sierra and it really shows. If you’re looking for maximum style and performance, consider the 2019 Sierra Denali or the 2019 Sierra AT4 off-road truck.

Texans are raving about the innovative GMC MultiPro Tailgate, which has 6 different functions for loading, unloading, and cargo access. We also love the ProGrade Trailering System, which offers an In-Vehicle Trailering App, Phone Companion App, Trailer Light Test, Hitch Guidance, Trailer Cameras, Auto Electric Parking Brake Assist, and Trailer Brake Controller.

Compared to the new Silverado, the Sierra also offers a Carbon Fiber cargo box and adaptive ride control. Overall it’s an incredible truck that excels at towing and hauling in style.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

We’re really excited about the new Silverado - it’s one of the most customizable trucks ever. Chevrolet offers 6 different powertrains (including a diesel) so you can find the right configuration for how you drive and what you haul. Compared to the F150, the Silverado retains its durable steel bed.

Thanks to clever engineering, the 2019 Silverado is 450 pounds lighter than the last generation. Current Silverado owners will immediately notice the new look and design too, with more aggressive body styling and 4 new front grilles. There’s 8 different trims and several packages to choose from too, from towing to Z71 off-road.

Compared to the 2019 Sierra, the Silverado is more competitively priced and more customizable to get the exact features you want for your budget. It’s a fantastic truck that can be configured for any Texas driver.

2019 Ram 1500

The New Ram is perhaps the most talked about half-ton truck for Texas drivers. The various special editions like the Rebel, Big Horn, and Laramie LongHorn are more impressive than ever before. When it comes to the interior, the 2019 Ram resets the bar for the entire class of pickups.

The 2019 Ram is incredibly stylish both inside and out. The exterior is more aerodynamic and features a sleek new grille. The RamBox offers the perfect in-bed storage solution for tailgating. It has many best-in-class features like V8 Towing and Max Payload. The eTorque option improves performance dramatically. Also the Active Air Dam and Air Suspension System really set this truck apart from the rest.

The 2019 Ram’s interior is truly the most luxurious in this class. The available Uconnect system gives you a 12” vertical touchscreen in the center of your dashboard that lets you control navigation, climate controls, media, and more. There’s also physical controls for climate, towing, and more so you get the best of both worlds. The Ram has dozens of really neat options that you’ll love, like a digital cluster display, active noise cancellation, fast-USB charging, 900w Harman Kardon sound system, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 15” center console, under seat storage and Ram Bins, and more. There’s over 100 standard safety features too.

Compared to the other pickups in the class, the Ram stands out in many notable ways. We would highly recommend it for drivers that want the most exclusive trucks available. Even if you get the Tradesman or other editions, you won’t be disappointed.

2019 Ford F150

Ford’s F150 is currently in its 13th generation, which started back in 2015. While this truck isn’t completely redesigned, it’s proven capability and performance justify its title as the best-selling truck in America.

The 2019 F150 is available in dozens of styles and configurations, making it the ultimate truck for customizing. Ford loyalists will boast about the impressive lineup of powertrains, which grows in 2019 with the addition of a turbodiesel. Most engines are matched with an impressive 10-speed automatic transmission. The F150 is known for incredible towing capability and weight capacity in the bed. You can choose from several special editions too like the off-road Raptor or the top-of-the-line Limited.

We love the 2019 F150 because of how flexible it can be. You can build it (or find one in stock) to your exact needs for a competitive price. The F150 is a fantastic truck to drive around Texas, whether it be a commercial workhorse or a luxurious King Ranch.

2019 Nissan Titan

TThe Titan is in it’s 2nd generation, which just started in 2016. This means there likely won’t be a major update or redesign for a few years. The 2019 Nissan Titan was just revealed at the Texas State Fair this year.

The 2019 Titan will have some new features like a standard 7” touchscreen infotainment system, more USB ports, and a rear-door alert system. The V8 engine remains the same, but is very capable for most driving. If you want the new turbodiesel, you’ll have to upgrade to the Titan XD. Our biggest complaint with the Titan is the dated exterior design. If you can get past that, Nissan more than makes up for it with competitive pricing and significant discounting.

We recommend the 2019 Titan for drivers looking for an affordable commercial truck or daily driver. The Titan offers a great balance of performance, comfort, and features - notably in the SV trim. The warranty and price make the Titan hard to resist for many Texas truck drivers.
